Yuvarlakçay is the answer to particularly hot summer days. The waterfalls of the mountain river can be found in the Pinar district, 6 kilometers away from Köyceğiz. The hidden oasis attracts with the so-called snow water, which comes from underground springs deep in Çiçek Mountain at a temperature of 3 degrees Celsius.
Also known as the Round Stream, the river has a history dating back about 200 years. When the region was facing severe droughts and the people of the area were struggling with crop failures, they came across the underground river during an explosion while searching for solutions. As a result of this vibrations, a small canyon was formed, where the water has since bubbled to the surface and flowed into Lake Köyceğiz.
Numerous restaurants have settled along the banks of the river, from which visitors can enjoy the dammed natural pools and small waterfall cascades. The swings over the water provided by the restaurants are typical and those who dare to go into the cool water can also use the river for swimming.
